Jared Lansdale

I’ve been involved in fitness since a young age, originally focussing on martial arts where I won several awards at county level. My love of martial arts drove me to look into bodyweight training and mobility work, eventually leading me to CrossFit™ where I decided I wanted to help others learn the benefits that exercise can bring to your life.

My years of training in martial arts and CrossFit™ has provided me with an appreciation of what it takes to make real progress and my aim is to help all people, not just athletes, be the best version of themselves. If you’d like help, motivation and direction I’m available for 1:2:1 sessions, joint sessions and small group training.

Guilty pleasures: Sweet food and chocolate, I’d eat pancakes with syrup everyday if I could.

Favourite film: Unleashed / one of the many marvel films (I can’t choose one).

Something you may not know: I’m a massive geek; love video games, comics and animated films.  

Favourite exercise: Pull Ups… Bodyweight Training and Olympic Lifting are my go-to.

Goals for 2019: Build strength; While I have good bodyweight strength and mobility, I’d like to build strength to improve my lifting and my aim to take part in some CrossFit competitions in 2020.
