SHERBORNE RUNNING CLUB 

Details of our running club training sessions are posted to the SPFit facebook page every week at 6pm on Sunday evening. Our running sessions are every Tuesday at 6pm, ready to start running after a warm up and route briefing, for about one hour. As it is summer, we will now run off road along the beautiful trails around Sherborne. All levels of experience and ability are welcome, we are just one friendly club. Ask our members.  Just check out all the comments and "banter" as our members actively support and encourage each other. Membership of our running club is £20 per quarter. HYBRID ONLINE AND IN SPFIT-  SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING

This is our small group body transformation coaching session with four of our team (3 are online and one trains in SPFit). We use a specific strength and conditioning program to target the goals in the team. This is changed every 3 months. The session is every Monday from 6:30pm - 7:30pm.  If you are interested in joining this team please contact us for more information.

HYBRID ONLINE AND IN SPFIT WEDNESDAY EVENING FITNESS YOGA (BROGA)

This is our fitness yoga class designed to get you strong, mobile and flexible at the same time. The cost is £16 per month payable by standing order on the 1st of each month - we rotate 4 different fitness yoga workouts each week: chest/upper body, legs, back and our wholebody workout we call the "sizzle" - it is held every Wednesday from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Due to COVID restrictions, there will be limited spaces to join this session in our "gym", as well as continuing online as we have throughout the pandemic.  We have participants from all over the UK now as well as Austria and Italy. HYBRID ONLINE AND IN SPFIT OLD SCHOOL CIRCUIT TRAINING - THURSDAY EVENING AND FRIDAY MORNING

Our bootcamps/circuits classes are designed to both strengthen the whole body and burn calories at the same time. Our aim this month is to increase strength, we will therefore reduce the amount of time spent on each station in each circuit but increase the weights we lift for each exercise. These sessions are suited to all abilities for both men and women. The cost is £21 for a block of 3 coached sessions each month and the fourth week is organised by you, the members. Our Friday morning sessions are now an outdoor bootcamp session run by the members so they are FREE . The idea is that you can have a "right laugh" training outdoors with "friends", while Simon is coaching 1:1 sessions indoors but  still keeping a watchful eye on you all.  Our Thursday evening session is from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. ONLINE SATURDAY MORNING STRENGTH & HIGH INTENSITY FAT BURNING BLITZ 

At our members request, this starts with burst HIIT and then moves onto a specific strength and conditioning program . The first workout is a Tabata HIIT session lasting for 15 minutes. The second workout lasts for 30 to 36 minutes As Many Rounds As Possible (AMRAP) strength and conditioning circuit. These two workouts provide both a cardiovascular and muscular endurance workout. The cost is £14 for two coached sessions per month and the members organise the other two weeks - from 9am - 10am. NEW BARBELL FUNDAMENTALS STRENGTH and CONDITIONING SESSION 

This session has been running for a month now and is designed to allow you to work on technique for four of our five big lifts (pull-ups, squats, overhead press and deadlifts) and then go outside for our little finisher of a metabolic circuit AMRAP of press-ups, sit-ups and, everyone's favourite, burpees.

Simon writes a structured programme for the group to follow and coaches the first two sessions which are £10 each per person. Then, all the sessions for the next 10 weeks, are uncoached, open training sessions so there is no cost. When you are ready for a new programme, we can design it and coach it to suit you.

The idea is to simply encourage everyone back into the gym and start weightlifting / strength training again within a small group environment. Hopefully, you can all encourage each other and create another brilliant supportive team environment.
